Project Overview
This project was carried out for a large, DAX-listed energy corporation in Germany operating in a highly regulated, business-critical environment.
I worked as a Senior Full-Stack & Azure Developer, contributing to the migration, modernization, and ongoing development of a core web platform used in daily operational processes.
The focus of the project was stability, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability rather than rapid feature delivery.
Responsibilities & Contributions
- Development and further evolution of a business-critical enterprise web platform
- Migration of existing application components to Microsoft Azure
- Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Introduction and enforcement of Infrastructure as Code practices
- Backend development using C# and .NET, with a strong emphasis on clean architecture
- Integration of the application with existing enterprise systems
- Continuous improvement of performance, reliability, and security
- Active participation in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making
- Close collaboration with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders in an agile setup
Technical Focus
The project required a strong balance between new cloud-native approaches and existing enterprise constraints.
