Project Overview
This project was carried out for a regional grid operator in the German energy sector, responsible for critical infrastructure and operating within a highly regulated environment.
I worked as a Fullstack Engineer | .NET & Dynamics 365 within a Lead Consultant engagement at Acando / CGI, contributing to a greenfield development initiative building customer-facing self-service portals from the ground up.
The project focused on designing and developing B2C and B2B self-service portals supporting photovoltaic system onboarding, grid connection requests, and related energy-sector business processes — alongside Dynamics 365 customization and CRM integration.
Responsibilities & Contributions
- Designed and developed customer-facing B2C and B2B self-service portals from the ground up, supporting photovoltaic system onboarding and grid connection requests
- Implemented fullstack functionality using ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript (jQuery), HTML, and SCSS within a greenfield development initiative
- Developed backend integration components connecting portal applications with Dynamics 365, including custom data access layers, business logic, and CRM integrations
- Implemented and maintained Dynamics 365 customizations including entity modeling, form configuration, security roles, business rules, solution management, and environment deployments
- Designed and implemented REST APIs and ASP.NET Core web services supporting portal workflows and integrations with enterprise systems
- Collaborated closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to digitize and streamline customer onboarding and grid connection processes
- Maintained and enhanced business-critical applications by resolving production issues, implementing new features, and improving application stability
- Contributed to architecture discussions and solution design for scalable customer-facing energy sector platforms
